[BlueOnyx:17193] PHPList / Email Issues

I will try to explain what is happening.
We have a sub domain like media.mydomain.com which uses phplist
the primary domain is at a different hosting group and the email in on 
Microsoft 365 cloud.

When trying to send the e-mailer their e-mail bounce as no such user.
Is there a way to fix or work around?

Hopefully this make sense
