[BlueOnyx:19438] Web Alias Redirects - flag not being honored?

For some reason that flag isn't being honored on at least one of my
domains. One thing a little unusual is that the vsite is:

abc.example.com

and the only alias is

*.abc.example.com

To get things going I manually edited the vsite specific httpd conf file
and commented out all of the rewrite lines and it's working fine.

I suspect the next service restart is going to put them back though.
