Jason,

1. yes you can buy the package http://shop.blueonyx.it/php.html for your blueonyx. With this package you can install php 5.4 or 5.5 or 5.6 (on 5209R also php 7, but I do not know if php 7 is also available for 5208R).

2. there is no inplace upgrade from 5208R to 5209R. The only way is a migration. cmuExport Sites and mysqldump databases on 5208R. Install new Server with 5209R and cmuImport and Import of the databases.

I'm sure both of these have been answered multiple times but a quick search didn't give me anything. Any advice would be appreciated.

1. Can I run php 5.6 on BlueOnyx 5208R
   (specifically upgrade the only site I have on that server)

2. If not can I upgrade BlueOnyx 5208R to 5209R
