There is a problem with dovecot.

Verify that dovecot is operational, this will solve your Roundcube issue.

UPDATE!

Another server reboot, and I was able to reinstall the Roundcube application to that website. BUT! I still can't log into Roundcube. I still get the error "Connection to storage server failed".

Anyone have any ideas?

I was able to confirm the database for that site's Roundcube did exist, and was even able to see the entries in the "users" table in that database. Ok, that's not it. Then I read that someone had the same problem happen repeatedly. He advised he would fix it each time by uninstalling the Roundcube application from a website, and then reinstalling it. So I tried that - uninstalled the Roundcube application in the "Web" and "Web-applications" menu.

Each time I click the install button, a page comes up describing Roundcube and where it will be installed, along with a warning about choosing your directory carefully. BUT! There is no install button on that page, just a CANCEL button. So I can't reinstall the web application to this website.
