Larry,

I migrated from 5106R to 5209R and have the same issue on the new box now. 
All lists are bounced with "non-member posting to members only list" but config is set to

generic_nonmember_action = 0
default_member_moderation = 0
subscribe_policy = 2
max_message_size = 10000
reply_goes_to_list = 1
require_explicit_destination = 0

Did you find a solution for this issue?

This morning a fairly new 5208R server started
bouncing all mailman list messages with the generic
"non-member posting to members only list"
when in fact all lists on this server are set to allow anyone to post
to the list(s).  (has been working fine for two to three weeks)

Have done a yum clean all, yum update.
stopped and restarted mailman.

Any other suggestions?
