CentOS6 and SL6 usually comes with MySQL 5.1. Which has libmysqlclient.so.16

You do have an older MySQL 5.5 PKG from the shop installed, which comes
with libmysqlclient.so.18.

Please get the latest MySQL PKG from the shop (5.5.54), as it comes with
a supplemental MySQL-compat RPM that supplies both the *.so.16 and the
*.so.18.
