As Colin pointed out, we did see this with one of his systems, and the 
issue was resolved after a couple of things:
#1: Yum was told to only resolve via IPv4.  See [BlueOnyx:20675] & 
[BlueOnyx:20679].

#2: The host node was rebooted to load the latest available kernel.  As 
much as I tend to avoid a reboot whenever possible, when the kernel and 
the OpenVZ tools get rather far apart in terms of updates we see some 
incompatibility.  Assuming the host node is fully yum'd, rebooting will 
load the latest kernel.
