Hi Michael

That works until the next reboot where it fails to start automatically again and sends a monitoring alert.

Can it be fixed to start on reboot too?

/sbin/service netdata restart

Then check with "netstat -tupan|grep LISTEN|grep 19999" to see if it has bound to that port. If not, restart it again a few times until it has.
