This is no eventurin, just a openvz
Its a old one but the client needs it still.

The conf file is changed with the host name and the vps restarted
HOSTNAME="alpha.xxx"
But the vps still uses the old hostname.
uname -a
Linux server3.xxxx

What version of Aventurin{e} is that? We recently released Aventurin{e}
6109R and you might want to get the latest version sometime down the road.

The hostname of VPS's can only be changed in the "VPS Basic Settings"
for that VPS in the Aventurin{e} GUI. Once you changed the hostname you
should restart the VPS so that all processes and services in the VPS have a
chance to learn the new hostname.
