    pg_connect() implies that the Vsite in question is using Postgres and
    not MySQL. And no, the Solarspeed PHP no longer is built with Postgres
    support, sorry.
    
They use MySQL on the BX but import data into it from a Postgres database on a Windows Server on their network.
