Right, there is the problem: APF was unable to load the ip_tables kernel
module.

Is this a physical server or is it using some kind of virtualization to
run BlueOnyx?

In any case: You might want to edit /etc/apf/conf.apf and find this line:

SET_MONOKERN="1"

It's either set to "0" or set to "1", depending on what APF detected
during the install. If it is "1", set it to "0". If it is "0", set it to
"1" and save the changes. Then restart APF again and see if it works, or
if it throws another error message: /usr/sbin/apf -r"
