We have the same problem on all our 5209R servers ... AV-Spam not running.
Restart doesn't help.

We have had to disable it until Michael can suggest a fix ...

After last nights Yum update on our 5209.

Spamassassin  will not start, also  ClamAV goes tp 100% CPU  for a few minutes when restarting before it reports spamassassin is not running

This happened after yum updated
> spamassassin.x86_64 0:3.4.0-5 will be updated Package
---> spamassassin.x86_64 0:3.4.0-5.el7_7 will be an update Package

/usr/sausalito/sbin/avspam_init.pl  -status   takes a long time to run, over a minute, and  shows the following

Have tried killing and restarting f sendmail and avspam, and cannot see anything in logs to indicate why Spamassassin will not start.


Any help would be apricated.
