Hi Michael,
I just updated a 5209R server and when I went to restart dovecot I got the
following error

doveconf: Fatal: Error in configuration file /etc/dovecot/conf.sni.d/site1.conf line 4: ssl_cert: Can't open file /home/.sites/28/site1/certs/nginx_cert_...le or director

That's correct none of the sites have a nginx_cert
