[BlueOnyx:24239] Dovecot imaps / pop3s obsolete message

My Blue Friends,

Lately I have noticed this in /var/log/maillog which occurs during a 
start/restart of the Dovecot service.

Sep  2 08:55:32 web dovecot: master: Dovecot v2.2.36.4 (baf9232c1) 
starting up for imap, pop3 (core dumps disabled)
Sep  2 08:55:32 web dovecot: config: Warning: NOTE: You can get a new 
clean config file with: doveconf -n > dovecot-new.conf
Sep  2 08:55:32 web dovecot: config: Warning: Obsolete setting in 
/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf:24: 'imaps' protocol is no longer necessary, 
remove it
Sep  2 08:55:32 web dovecot: config: Warning: Obsolete setting in 
/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf:24: 'pop3s' protocol is no longer necessary, 
remove it

Would it be prudent to remove the "imaps" and "pops" from the "# 
Protocols we want to be serving" line in the config file?    I note that 
if I manually remove the entry there's no adverse impact on secure 
logins by POP or IMAP.
