Aside from the Zip-issues there was also an issue with cURL support
along the way. The onboard-curl libraries of the OS were too old, so I
threw in a more modern cURL instead.

Other than that? There is argon2 password support, libsodium, apcu, gd
got all sensible graphics formats enabled (again) and intl was re-added.
