There were indeed a couple of issues that got reported to me two days
ago and I fixed them in between.
A recent update of the OS template building tools from OpenVZ broke the
YUM that is used to roll up EL8 based OS templates. It can no longer use
HTTPS mirrors and the AlmaLinux 8 and BlueOnyx 5210R OS template configs
had HTTPS mirrors in their config.
So I published updated RPMs that contain revised template caches:
almalinux-8-x86_64-ez-1.0.1-1BX01.vl7.noarch.rpm
blueonyx-5210R-x86_64-ez-7.0.0-5.vl7.noarch.rpm
Do a "yum clean all" and "yup update" on your Aventurin{e} to be sure to
have the latest caches installed.
Then run this command on the node to force a complete rebuild from
scratch of the 5210R template:
vzpkg create cache blueonyx-5210R-x86_64 -f
Note the "-f" at the end, which forces a rebuild instead of attempting
an update an older cache that may already present.
You will receive detailed status and progress reports on the console and
should this run into any errors or issues, it'll tell you where it went
wrong.
If the command fails, then please report back with the error messages
and I'd be glad to assist further.
