Where are you trying to delete the message? Is that in the GUI when you 
click on the mailing list in question and then on the button "Mailman 
Admin Interface" and then "Tend to pending moderator requests"?

You usually delete them there by marking the message via "Discard" and 
then click on the button "Submit All Data".

Which version of BlueOnyx is this?
