Hi Michael,

Postfix logs to /var/log/maillog just like Sendmail does and generally
there is no issue with it. I suspect that logging in general is affected
on your server.

Try this to shake it loose again:

rm /var/log/journal/*/*
rm /var/lib/rsyslog/imjournal.state
systemctl restart systemd-journald
systemctl restart rsyslog

I switched it back to sendmail and rebooted and then switched to postfix again and rebooted and that seemed to shake it loose. Seems okay now.
