Hi Colin,

That would be fine, but don’t know what they are trying to achieve, unless you have an actual value instead of _acme-challenge.

Please note that hostnames are generally not allowed to contain an underscore, so possibly your DNS server will choke on that.
I know Bind can be very picky.
