Email all the settings I had checked before the reboot had reverted back to
unchecked. None of the services were running until I rechecked
everything.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="COLOR: #1f497d">All those settings reverted
back to the defaults, poprelayd was not running (in fact chkconfig showed what
used to be on was not off randomly). I rechecked POP authenticated
relaying, verified poprelayd was running and that a chkconfig –list showed
that it was “on” for the appropriate run levels.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
