all the settings I had checked before the reboot had reverted back to unchecked.
None of the services were running until I rechecked everything.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>All those settings reverted back
to the defaults, poprelayd was not running (in fact chkconfig showed what used
to be on was not off randomly). I rechecked POP authenticated relaying,
verified poprelayd was running and that a chkconfig –list showed that it
was “on” for the appropriate run levels.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Rebooted…<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>And back to the settings being
gone again.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
