for years and recently (a few weeks ago) started moving to BlueOnyx on my
servers when I was forced to rebuild one due to hardware failure. I'm
currently working to standardize on BO, and it looks great so far. So,
thanks for continuing the development of this platform!<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>A couple things I've thought about in the past, I figured
it's about time to ask here to make sure I haven't missed some obvious way to accomplish
my goals:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>1. Is there any way to include additional lines for
ifcfg-eth0 such that they can be kept and not wiped out during any potential
network reconfig? For example, I like to include an ETHTOOL_OPTS= line in
my ifcfg files to specifically force speed and duplex settings since
autonegotiation with many switches is not a great way to go. Whenever I
build up a server with BO, I go into my eth0 config and manually add that line,
which of course would get removed if I went through the interface to change an
IP or something. If there's NOT currently a good way to do this, is that
something that could be considered for future addition to the package?<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>2. Is there any way to specify the home directory for a
user? In most cases, I like the way new users are built up underneath the
site directory, but I also generally have a single admin user that I create for
each site, and I would love it if that admin user's home directory could be the
same as the root directory for the domain he administers.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Obviously, neither of these requests are huge issues, but
they'd definitely be nice-to-haves for my environment.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Oh, one last thing... Am I correct in my understanding from
searching the web today that the best (perhaps only reliable) way to get
OpenWebmail into the BlueOnyx environment is purchase the package from
solarspeed.net? like some other users, I had been using an old PKG in BQ
and wouldn't mind still having that as a webmail option.<o:p></o:p></p>
