Both sites were also manually updated to the latest version. One site, while trying to correct it, I found out that it being an older site that was CMUed over, I was unable to reach some of the modules and components from the backend. I went into the BX GUI, and suPHP was off, but I changed the owner admin account to the site’s administrative user, which resets all the directory ownerships, and the problem went away.
