CMU - Cobalt Migration Utility<br>
<br>
That's not going to do it for you ... However.<br>
<br>
There are CLI tools that will create accounts. I imagine it wouldn't
be too hard to script something up that would create the accounts
and then copy mail files in place.<br>
<br>
I don't know about how easy/hard it would be to maintain the same
passwords unless you have them plain text somewhere.<br>
<br>
What you COULD do, would be to have the script generate a random
password which could be given to the users some other way.<br>
<br>
Maybe generate the passwords in advance and email them out.<br>
<br>
<br>
"Post migration, your new password will be X ... follow this process
to change it."<br>

<title>Question about importing accounts</title>

style="font-size: 11pt;"> Hi there,<br>
<br>
I am new to the list but have been using Blue Onyx for close
to a year. The person working with us has been using it for a
number of years.<br>
<br>
I have a server running NetBSD with a few thousand email
accounts. I want to migrate these users to a blue onyx box.
Reading the CMU page I can’t tell if it is for Blue Onyx to
Blue Onyx migrations or if it’s possible to read in the passwd
file from a BSD server and create accounts in Blue Onyx.<br>
<br>
Before writing I tried to search out the question but I only
found a few similar questions that generating no discussion.<br>
<br>
Any info that anybody may have is greatly appreciated.<br>
