we had a similar problem, as we tested die SL BlueOnyx on Aventurine. We
didn´t figure it out, because of little time. I think it was a problem of
this special template, because we installed it three times on different
Masternodes: same problem.

I'd be interested to know how long ago that was, or if it was a recent OS
template. So far I've seen quite a few 5107R and some 5108R VPS's and none of
that had these issues.

Hello,

thank you all for the responses.

I had never seen this happening before and ive been using every
flavor of bluequartz/blueonyx (except 5108R) on virtualization
since day one..

Maybe i panicked too soon but it was really weird.. Instalation on
the 5108R went super fast, but then.. booting / running simple ssh
commands was like waiting for the lady to get ready for that
special dinner =)

I started wondering about kernel version and making various tests
and probably lost focus on what should have been addressed first.

Well turns up you guys were right and it was indeed the master
node under stress.
Im still waiting for a official confirmation but i could verify
that because after a couple hours, lets say... during the night
the load valued dropped drastically and a machine that wasnt doing
anything finally started behaving like one.

Ill keep you guys posted if i find anything else regarding the
subject.
Thanks again, cheers!
