this is not a direct comment to Tobias even though I'll comment his mail.<BR>

First of all, all maillinglists on sausalito-based servers (majordomo/mailman) are using numbers in the name, with the majordomo implementation aliases was set up to mask this behaviour. I haven't looked inte Michaels setup for mailman as I've been doing other stuff (Michael knows what!) but<BR>
it shouldn't be to hard to add a public alias to the name, Michael?<BR>

I don't think it is nice in any way to have a prefix to a listname. If I want a listname I give it the one I want to - no prefix needed in any way.
I would highly appreciate if the lists are created without prefix. And I even cannot see the need of the prefix. As far as I can see it is only used as an email address and this already has to be unique for every domain.
