It seems my VPS provider had decided to shut down, and they’ve been nice enough to give me 3 whole days’ notice (and claim they gave me 45). What this means is I need to get myself move to new VPSes or even a dedicated machine in very, very short order. Up until now, the host I was with has been quite reliable, responsive with support, and quite nicely priced, so I hope to find the same maybe with one of the folks on this list. The accounts I need to move from are 2 OpenVZ instances, each instance having 1 GB RAM (2 GB burst), 4 vCPUs, 60 GB disk space, and 5 TB monthly transfer limit. I’ve been running CentOS 5 with the standalone BlueOnyx installer on top of it, each instance with ½ live sites and ½ regularly updated backups from the other instance. I don’t need more than a single IP per instance at this point, but what I do need is somewhere I can get set back up and CMU my stuff from one place to the other before I’m toast at my current host.

I need at least a VPS so I have some freedom with shell access, running backup jobs, etc. etc. If you think you can help, please feel free to drop a line directly to my email address so the rest of the list doesn’t have to read any further. If you have a solid recommendation of someone else I should try, please send me those suggestions as well.

Thanks!!!

James
