<span class="hps">the</span> <span class="hps">vmconverter
failed</span> <span class="hps">and</span> <span class="hps">had
to make a new install of the</span> system BlueOnyx-5108R
SL6.2<span class="hps">,</span> in a virtual machine <span
class="hps">and copy</span> <span class="hps">the folders:</span>
<span class="hps">Root,</span> <span class="hps">tmp</span>, <span
class="hps">var</span> <span class="hps">and</span> <span
class="hps">home</span></span><span class="hps"><span
lang="EN-US"></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN"><span
class="hps">When starting</span> <span class="hps">the new
machine had 4</span> <span class="hps">NICs</span>, 2 <span
class="hps">of</span> <span class="hps">the old machine</span>
<span class="hps">with</span> his <span class="hps">mac</span>
<span class="hps">address</span> <span class="hps">and 2</span>
of the new <span class="hps">virtual</span> <span class="hps">machine</span>
<span class="hps">with</span> his <span class="hps">mac</span>
<span class="hps">address</span>, <span class="hps">the issue</span>
<span class="hps">is that the server</span> <span class="hps">does
not respond</span> <span class="hps">over network</span>
because it had <span class="hps">the old</span> <span
class="hps">mac.</span></span></p>

class="hps">migrate</span> <span class="hps">several servers</span>
and <span class="hps">would need to know</span>:<br>
<span class="hps">What would be the</span> <span class="hps">easiest
way to</span> <span class="hps">connect to the old
configuration</span> <span class="hps">of the 2</span> <span
class="hps">network</span> <span class="hps">cards</span> to <span
class="hps">the new</span> <span class="hps">network cards</span>

<span lang="EN">Cambio de configuración de red en virtualizacion de
servidor</span><span

Tenemos un problema, hemos migrado un servidor instalado en una
máquina física a una máquina virtual con vmware.</span>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span
style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">Para
hacer la migración, no nos funcionó el vmconverter y tuvimos que
hacer una instalación nueva del s.o., y copiar las carpetas:
Root, tmp, var y home </span><span
style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif""></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span
style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">Al
arrancar la nueva instalación nos encontramos con 4 tarjetas de
red, 2 de la máquina antigua con sus direcciones mac y 2 con la
máquina virtual con su direcciones mac, la cuestión es que el
servidor no responde a través de red ya que las tarjetas
configuradas tienen una mac distinta a la real. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span
style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">Como
tenemos que migrar varios servidores necesitaríamos conocer:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span
style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">¿cuál
sería la forma más sencilla de asociar la configuración de las 2
tarjetas red que teníamos a las nuevas tarjetas de red
(reasignar las nuevas mac)?<br>
