<br>
I am running BX on two dell 1850's, one with 4 gig of ram (<font
style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px;">5106R</font>)
and one with 7 gig of Ram (<font
style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:12px;">5108R</font>)<br>
<br>
The machines only cost me ~ $350 each and I am very very happy at
this point. <br>
<br>
I don't even feel the need to go with a more powerful machine....
yet that is... <br>
<br>
I'm sure on e of these days they will both start to slow down and
I will need to upgrade but for now the 1850's have plenty of
power.<br>
<br>
My next move will be to buy hardware that can deal with
virtualization which I am guessing would take it's toll on my
current hardware?<br>
<br>
All that being said....... I defer to the real pros. on this
list. Michael, Chris, and Gerald<br>
<br>
<br>
I also have test BX box in my basement. <br>
Below is a snip from the GUI showing the hardware setup.<br>
<br>
As you can see you don't need much to make it run. <br>
