Stick with passive mode - that has the server open the data channel to the connecting PC, not inbound as in ACTIVE mode. And this is the best way to do it with a NAT/PAT router (sometimes the ONLY way to do it).

<br />Just set the FTPS on, that will move the control channel to 990 - and it will take care of the rest by handshake over the control channel.
