Hi
List,
<br />
<br />I've updated one of my 5208R with PHP 5.5.22 from the solarspeed shop
about 3 weeks ago (end of
april).
<br />After the update/installation some of my users started complaining that
their mailscripts stopt
working.
<br />We have had that kind of problems in the past with older php scripts and
in those cases adding the -f emailadress to sendmail in php.ini would solve
it.
<br />The error seen in de errorlog is: Malformed header from script, followed
by the path to the websites
script.
<br />It seems that the -f switch is no longer working with the sendmail
directive in
php.ini
<br />
<br />So i'm a bit puzzeled after days of trying to fix this. I've searched the
Internet and there are plenty of anwsers to find, but most of them don't work or
seem
irrelevant.
<br />
<br />I seem to remember that the installation through the GUI did not complete
to "installed" but was hanging on 100% or so for more then an
hour.
<br />Maybe some install script didn't run properly and things got mixed
up?
<br />
<br />Is it advisable to reinstall PHP or try to complete the install in another
way?
<br />
<br />Does anyone have some other clues to where my problem is coming from (and
how to solve it :)
?
<br />
<br />All help is welcome ofcourse
;)
<br />
<br />Wisja
<br />
