UPDATE!

Another server reboot, and I was able to reinstall the Roundcube application to that website. BUT! I still can't log into Roundcube. I still get the error "Connection to storage server failed".

Anyone have any ideas?

Subject: [BlueOnyx:19572] Roundcube errors

>
Hello BX
experts,
>
> Friday, I started migrating domains to our new 5209R server -
already installed with DFix and Roundcube. Everything seemed to be working
fine after a dozen sites were cmuExported and
cmuImported.
>
> But this morning, users are complaining about not able to log
into Roundcube. I confirmed it using my own test account on the domain.
Nothing worked - I kept getting the error "Connection to storage server
failed".
>
> First I remembered a e-mail about some Yum updates yesterday -
so I rebooted the server. No luck. I turned off and back on all e-mail
services on the server - again no
luck.
>
> I searched the maillist archives, and found things to check.
I was able to confirm the database for that site's Roundcube did exist, and was
even able to see the entries in the "users" table in that database.
Ok, that's not it. Then I read that someone had the same problem happen
repeatedly. He advised he would fix it each time by uninstalling the Roundcube
application from a website, and then reinstalling it. So I tried that -
uninstalled the Roundcube application in the "Web" and
"Web-applications"
menu.
>
> Unfortunately, now I can't reinstall it. Each time I click
the install button, a page comes up describing Roundcube and where it will be
installed, along with a warning about choosing your directory carefully.
BUT! There is no install button on that page, just a CANCEL button. So I
can't reinstall the web application to this
website.
>
> Does anyone know what I'm missing? Why can I see the
Roundcube install button and data base - but not install the
application?
>
> Thanks for any
help!
>
>
Chuck
