hello cracks :-)

long time ago, I managed to setup subdomains for users to enable
      username.domain.tld redirect to www.domain.tld/~username/.
      I tweaked the DNS bind and the HTTPD conf files... It was
      complicated and doesn't work now anymore.

Now, one can very conveniently in the GUI enable subdomains and
      setup for instance the subdomain foo redirect to the
      directory foo/ in the site's root (foo.domain.tld
      -> www.domain.tld/foo/).

But I couldn't find out how to redirect to an user's private
      directory instead... How can I have username.domain.tld
      redirect to www.domain.tld/~username/ ?
      That would be cool!

Thank you and best regards
