<div>I'm really stuck, and could use suggestions.</div>

<div>I'm trying to restore cmuExports of sites to a new server which replaces one which died a few days ago. The cmuExports were of each individual Vsite on the old server. All went well till I got to the last Vsite. The first indication of a problem is the line in the cmuImport output:

<div>ERROR: Vsite was not created properly.</div>

<div>cmuImport then starts bringing in the users. But after 25 users - cmuImport starts throwing errors:</div>
<div>ERROR: extractTar: Home directory does not exists</div>

<div>And no users get imported after that. The last of the cmuImport output is "Setting disk quota of 65000 MB for virtual site xx", and "Setting disk quota of ## for user: xxxx". ButI found that the site was created with -10000000B for quota, and the users that are imported wind up with existing disk usage numbers, but allowed disk space of 0. Weird. None of the disk quotas listed in the cmuImport output are set.

<div>So thinking it was a quota issue - I tried deleting the Vsite, starting the import again, and as soon as it created the site - changing the site quota to 500G. No difference.</div>

<div>I attempted changing the quota for the site to 500G and for all of the 25 users to 1G. But a subsequent run of cmuImport still had the same failure, and in the exact same place during cmuImport.

<div>Thinking it was a bad backup (cmuExport) - I pulled down a cmuExport from a month before that last one. No luck - the exact same failure in the exact same spot. Which would seem to be a issue at a higher level than the user.</div>

<div>/var/log/messages isn't a lot of help. After the users start failing - /var/log/messages shows "CREATE User failed (-5)" And a lot of other info:</div>
