<p><span style="white-space: pre-wrap">I can't say that I would recommend using BlueOnyx as a SIP platform. There would be a lot of things you'd have to load up on the system and to me it seems like a dependency nightmare. </span></p>
<p><span style="white-space: pre-wrap">It would be far easier to simply fire up another server or VPS and run something like FreePBX (for example). That one happens to run on a customized RHEL-clone base similar to BlueOnyx, but pretty much everything is controlled via the web GUI. I've administered FreePBX systems for many years and they're quite reliable and fully featured. You can use the SIP trunk provider of your choosing. I generally choose SIP Station because (a) the integration is very good and (b) I like to support the platform's sponsor. Similar to how I prefer buying packages from the BlueOnyx shop or would hope that BlueOnyx users are encouraged to use the sponsoring datacenter to host their services.</span></p>
