Sjaak,

Please check first if you really cannot connect with an ftp client. If you 
can connect but it works slowly, then you might have a dns problem. The ftp 
server does an IDENT check and a reverse dns check. If the dns settings are 
correct, please search the mailinglist on IDENT. There is a config change 
that can fix it as well.
