When moving a BX test server to another network.

When entering external DNS
At system Settings > TCP/IP > DNS Servers
We mistakenly entered the new server's IP address instead of the correct DNS server
addresses...

The Admin GUI locked out.

We were not able to HTTP access the box via name or IP address.

Editing the correct addresses into /etc/resolv.conf did not enable HTTP admin access.
http://ns.domain.net/login/ returned a 404 error.

http://ns.domain.net:444/login.php did enable the login screen.

All GUI entries are now correct.

What can we do to enable the original simple login?
ex: http://ns.domain.net/login/

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
put ":444" after the ip address that is the port admserv listens on

/login or /admin just redirects to xxx:444/login.php

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

That is what i've done.
The problem is, what got broken with an incorrect entry?
And, how do we fix it?
