Yeah, that ought to work, but I tested it on a box of mine and indeed: It 
doesn't work.

I'll have to look into mod_authnz_external-3.1.0-1 to see what the problem is 
and if the syntax is maybe different than listed in 
/root/PAM_AUTH_EXTERNAL.READ-ME

I'll check it out.
