Yea. esmtp covers smtp.

Not part of the IDS, its part of the stateful firewall. firewalling !=  
intrusion detection.

But a whole lot less flexible. You can put a cisco in 'no-nat' mode,  
depending on how many outside IP's are available. Failing that you can  
do port-level NAT ('port forwards'). Send your config to steve at
