[BlueOnyx:04338] Re: Hung cert generation (was DamnGoDaddy certs again... )

Ack... false alarm. Seems there were processes that got hung.

When I rebooted, I saw processes related to things I got hung on in
the GUI (cced) during the killall that were taking a long time to
respond. I left them alone for an hour or so and it was fully rebooted
when I returned. In the client v-site, the certs folder and self-signed
cert were created along with "certificate.backup.3" and
"request.backup.2".

I think whatever caused this was PHP related. Earlier this week, I
couldn't get into the admin GUI on both of our BO VMs and got some
single-line error message related to something in /usr/sausalito. Each
went away after rebooting from shell. Problem is the yum logs say the
last updates were April 10/11 and the GUIs were working fine from then
until this week...

Well hopefully the GoDaddy cert will be fine now. (The CSR was
generated with a passphrase though, so still room for more "adventures"
while setting that permanently into the key before doing the swap trick.
:P)

Nope, removing certs and restarting httpd + admserv didn't work.

Now it's also hanging when I try to Add a v-site! So now I can't
even re-create the v-site... Anybody know what could be causing that???

Maybe,
just completely remove the certs directory
then try to generate a self signed cert.

I always generate as self signed cert when either creating a new cert or
updating a cert. This keeps the data in the Gui up to date.
Of course when updating, you have to save and restore current certs
files.
