Following on from my previous email about abnormal swap usage on two
machines, I found the culprit, there were 999 swathc precesses running. eg.

root 1799 0.0 0.2 8176 5784 ? Ss 14:00 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl /usr/sbin/swatch -c /etc/swatch.conf
root 1913 0.0 0.2 8176 5832 ? Ss 14:15 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl /usr/sbin/swatch -c /etc/swatch.conf
root 2035 0.0 0.2 8176 5788 ? Ss 14:30 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl /usr/sbin/swatch -c /etc/swatch.conf
root 2119 0.0 0.2 8176 5788 ? Ss 14:45 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl /usr/sbin/swatch -c /etc/swatch.conf
root 2177 0.0 0.2 8176 5832 ? Ss 15:00 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -I/usr/sausalito/perl /usr/sbin/swatch -c /etc/swatch.conf

As you can see they are spawing from cron at 15min intervals until swap is exhausted.

I can't see any errors in the cron log.

This is happening on two servers, both are pretty much clean installs for testing purposes. Have rebooted checked for yum updates etc.
