[BlueOnyx:09284] Mailman Issues Still Pending

I really like mailman but I am having some big issues that are 
stopping me from pushing this to my other servers.

1.  The aliases.mailman in the sendmail.cfg reference seems to get 
lost.  I am finding I have to edit this file and then do a newaliases 
command every so often.
2.  Siteadmins are unable to create lists themselves.
3.  I am not sure what I did, but somehow all the users for an 
already established mailing list that i didn't touch was wiped 
out.  Here's what I did when I noticed the issue:
	a.  Created a new mailing list.
	b.  Reset the password on an existing mailing list.
	c.  Edited the sendmail.cfg and did the newaliases command.

I have one client who really finds the mailing list very 
important.  I am hoping to solve this issue because it is started to 
cause some friction.  I have written about some of these issues 
before but I haven't heard anything back.  I am hoping that there are 
some ideas.  It seems even though I followed the recipe to migrate 
from majordomo to mailman, there appears to be some remnants in the system.
