I installed a  geotrust ssl cert a couple of days ago.
For Firefox, just make sure to install the intermediate cert from the GUI. 
>From the SSL screen for that site, click the "Manage Certificate 
Authorities" button and import it there. The intermediate cert is in the 
email that they send you.
