In your siteX.include file in /etc/httpd/conf/vhosts/, put:

<Directory "/home/.sites/XX/siteX/web">
   AllowOverride All
   Options All
</Directory>

In your .htaccess, put:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^XXXX.com [NC] 
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.XXXX.com/$1 [L,R=301]
