Opps, are you logged in as root not admin?
If you log in as admin do "su -" at command line
To login in as root with root path then you should see it

My BX box doesn't recognize the hdparm command...

[root at box1 admin]# hdparm -I /dev/sda | grep -i speed
bash: hdparm: command not found
