Thanks! The K-9 SMTP does work flawlessly with SSL and cert
accepted...but still would like to support the Android messaging.

I downloaded a telnet app on the phone and get this after every command
sent to the server...

500 5.5.1 Command unrecognized: ""

Don't know how to copy all the session from my phone, but I connect with
'telnet server 25' and receive the server banner. After I enter 'ehlo
myserver', it comes back with all the features and then the message
above. The message also appears after every command as I specify like
this...

mail from: robert at webtent.org
250 2.1.0 robert at webtent.org... Sender ok
500 5.5.1 Command unrecognized: ""

I continue with the rcpt and data, the mail go through fine, but I
receive this message above after every command entered. This does not
happen when connecting from a different telnet client. I wonder if the
droid is giving up after seeing this message. Any ideas?

Thanks, Robert
