I was able to change the ip on eth0 back and forth from 10.80.80.221 to .225 using "ifconfig", no problem.

Still cannot ping to gateway or dns.

Login to the monitor and see what happens if you try
   ifconfig eth0 1.2.3.4
1.2.3.4 (some IP address)
