Hi all,

I have a site that in need to run .html files as php.

In the past I used to the following

vi /etc/httpd/conf.d/php.conf

add "AddType application/x-httpd-php .html"

restart apache /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart

I'm now running on a BlueOnyx virtual host and every time the server reboots
it adds a # to the line in the php.conf file hence turning it off.

I've tried the method of adding the command to the .htaccess file , AddType
application/x-httpd-php .htm .html

But this causes an error

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin and inform them of the time
the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused
the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying
to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can anyone help me with a solution ?

Best Regards,

Howie Dines
