I found the answer to that today:

Boot the Dell off the BlueOnyx ISO. At the boot menu do NOT press return on 
the first option. Instead press TAB to modify the boot parameters of the 
install.

At the bottom of the upper half of the screen you then see the default 
kickstart boot options. At the end of that line add the following:

biosdevname=0

Then press return to install and see if that works.
