Give this a go, 
 
/home/solarspeed/openwebmail/cgi-bin/openwebmail/openwebmail-tool.pl -iv INBOX  username

Replacing the  username with the relevant user name, Chris from  Virtbiz, found this fix for me when I had the same problem

none of that worked, I see nothing in error or access log that gives a clue
